Sam Parker

As Managing Director Sam oversees Anyway’s commercial endeavours. One of the founding partners of Metro International Sam has served as an Executive Producer across a number of films. Focused on talent and production partnerships whilst also working as an international sales agent, negotiating and licensing film rights to a variety of distributors in established and emerging markets.

KATHRYN CASTLES

Kathryn has worked as a freelance script reader, consultant and editor for production companies, studios and funding bodies in the UK, Europe, South Africa, USA and Australia, working on projects such as The Falling, The Long Walk to Freedom and Bulletproof. She was an Assistant at United Agents, a Development Executive at Objective Fiction and Solution 3 and a Development Producer for Company Pictures. She loves the process of creating stories with writers and directors.

FRANCESCA JOHNSON

evp of content

As EVP of Content, Francesca is responsible for building Anyway’s non-scripted business and driving the company’s scripted and non-scripted development slate.

Previously she was Director, Development and Production at National Geographic. She worked at the factual giant for eleven years and oversaw London based projects in development for the linear channels and Disney+, including Diana: In Her Own Words, Drain the Oceans, and Lost Cities. Francesca was Executive Producer on India From Above, a two-part series narrated by Dev Patel.

VICTORIA FÄH

As Development Executive, Creative & Strategy Victoria works across Anyway’s scripted and unscripted projects and on the overall strategy of the company. With a Master’s degree in Creative Business for Entrepreneurs and Executives from the National Film and Television School, Victoria is interested in the convergence of content and commerce and focuses on the cross-platform, branding and off-screen opportunities of the slate.

Prior to joining Anyway, Victoria worked at Platonic Films as a Creative Producer and in Business Development, as a Project Manager for Light Artist Gerry Hofstetter and Assistant Producer at TimeLineFilm Switzerland.

MALACHI BUTT-MUKETE

development assistant producer

Malachi joins as a development assistant producer working across the entire unscripted slate. He previously worked at BBC Studios Digital Originals where he helped develop several youth skewing titles for both online and linear.

A former print journalist, Malachi loves developing stories with a strong human-interest angle.

CASSIE SMYTH

development executive

Joining from BBC Three where she was a Content Producer leading on social campaigns such as Drag Race UK, Normal People, Glow Up, Jesy: The Odd One Out and more. In 2020 she won a Broadcast Award for Best Digital Support on Drag Race UK.

Prior to BBC Three she worked at BuzzFeed as a Staff Writer where she fell in love with trying to make online audiences laugh. She recently completed a diploma in Comedy Writing and Producing at the National Film and Television School.

ANNIE REDMAYNE

This is Annie’s first job in the Film and TV industry having worked extensively in hospitality for NBJ Leisure – owners of Café Boheme and Bar Sol Ona, Inter-Continental Hotels Group and Edible Food Design. She also worked for Parenting Website Gurgle.com before and after its sale to Mothercare Ltd, teenage community Mykindaplace.com later sold to Sky and entertainment business Blink TV.

OLIVER PARKER

partner / creative director

Oliver has been working as one of UK leading film directors for some time, with work ranging from his adaptations of Shakespeare’s Othello and Wilde’s An Ideal Husband and Dorian Gray to St Trinian’s, Johnny English Reborn and Dad’s Army. He’s currently directing the Sky series Funny Girl based on the Nick Hornby novel.

A leading figure in the international TV industry, James is a former Head of Programming at Sky and CEO at global production and distribution group, Red Arrow Studios. He also has extensive experience in developing new financial models for production and M+A in the global content sector.
